Welcome to General Science 1st semester Live Class! General Science is a student’s first introduction to the systematic study of the sciences. It is designed for 7th graders and above.
The course covers a wide-range of topics such as:
- the scientific method
- designing experiments
- simple machines
- human anatomy and physiology
This is a YEAR LONG (2 semesters) course covering 16 modules but each semester must be purchased individually.
This class begins on August 29, 2018 and runs weekly on Wednesday at 10:00am Central Time through December 12, 2018.
Students will be responsible for answering the On Your Own and Study Guide questions after reading the module and participating in the review of these questions in class. Each module also has a test which will be graded. During the year, students will learn how to write good lab reports and several will be assigned for the student to complete for a grade (assigned labs are mostly in 2nd semester).
Some of the experiments will be done during class or can be viewed via videos but others may have to be completed by the student at home. Students are encouraged to complete as many labs as possible.
This class will be taught from a biblical, creationist point of view.
