Welcome to General Science 2nd semester Live ClassGeneral Science is a student’s first introduction to the systematic study of the sciences. It is designed for 7th graders and above.

The course covers a wide-range of topics such as:

  • What is Life
  • Classifying Life
  • The Human Body: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
  • Energy and Life
  • Human Digestive System
  • Human Respiratory and Circulatory Systems
  • Human Lymphatic, Endocrine, and Urinary Systems
  • Human Nervous System

This is a YEAR LONG  (2 semesters) course covering 16 modules but each semester must be purchased individually, but do not need to be taken consecutively.

This class begins on January 23, 2019 and runs weekly on Wednesday at 10:00am Central Time through May 15, 2019.

Students will be responsible for answering the On Your Own and Study Guide questions after reading the module and participating in the review of these questions in class.  Each module also has a test which will be graded.  During the year, students will learn how to write good lab reports and several will be assigned for the student to complete for a grade (assigned labs are mostly in 2nd semester).

Some of the experiments will be done during class or can be viewed via videos but others may have to be completed by the student at home.  Students are encouraged to complete as many labs as possible.

This class will be taught from a biblical, creationist point of view.
